Renewal is the Codex of The Long Light — the final candle in the Chronicle, created not for a single festival or season, but for the moment when one turning year gives way to another.

The six Chapters follow the rhythm of the traditional Irish year, from Imbolc through Bealtaine, Midsummer, Lughnasadh and Samhain to the Winter Solstice. Renewal stands beyond them: a reminder that the ending of one cycle is also the beginning of the next.
